Now, I'm not one to take hold of a stereotype and run with it but sometimes...... Well' let's just say if the boot fits, it fits.
And the reason I say "boot" is because this stereotype comes to us from the Lone Star state - Texas.
Two "gentlemen" ( and I use the term loosely) were seated across the aisle in front of me on my flight from Houston to Philly this past week. Boots, cowboy hats, Texan accents, get the picture?
So one guy says to the other, "Hey, you seen Leroy around in a while?"
"Nope"
"That's because he's been on a 3 week vacation."
"Vacation, shoot. How'd he manage that?"
"He went on a dew -eee."
"Say what?"
"You heard me, a dew-ee."
"I don't know what you are talkin' about."
"D-U-I, three weeks in the slammer."
"And he was all worried about gettin' his man cherry popped in there."
Trust me, this stuff is too good to make up.
